Output
These settings change how the converter writes its HTML.
Links and Images
These settings control which addresses links and images can use.
HTML and Character References
These settings control what happens to HTML tags and character references in the text.
Extra Syntax
The converter shows the syntax in this section as plain text or as code by default. Each setting turns one kind on.
Emoji and GitLab-Style Syntax
These settings turn on emoji names, and two kinds of syntax that GitLab adds to Markdown: inline diffs and >>> quotes. None of them needs to know which repository the text came from.
Math
These settings turn on math syntax. The converter doesn't render math. It finds the TeX, escapes it, and writes it where a library on your page, such as KaTeX or MathJax, can find it. See Render Math for how to set that up.
